With 100% of students passing the course, students from Corrientes are certified in industrial food processing.
The alliance between Portuaria Corral and Liceo Carlos Haverbeck has already benefited more than 90 students, who have new tools to face the working world.

Thanks to the cooperation agreement between Portuaria Corral and the Carlos Haverbeck Richter High School, 30 students in 3rd and 4th grades were trained in industrial food processing, thus adding new tools that will enable them to face the working world with greater preparation.
The aforementioned agreement stands out among the multiple policies assumed by the port of Los Ríos with the community of Corral. After three years of training, it has had an impact on more than 90 students, allowing young people to access more and better job offers.
For Gabriel Iturra, principal of Liceo Carlos Haverbeck Richter, "this is fundamental for the education we want to provide our students. To strengthen their talents, increase their opportunities and deepen their knowledge. And he added: "We have seen that since we started with these trainings, job placement has increased, as well as the self-confidence of the children".
"One of the pillars of Corporate Social Responsibility in Portuaria Corral is to contribute directly to the education of children and young people from Corral. We are convinced that through education we promote the formation of better people, with greater possibility of social mobility, and therefore, every year we maintain and renew this commitment with the Carlos Haverbeck Richter High School", said Diego Sprenger, general manager of Portuaria Corral.
This year's course was HACCP Food Quality Assurance System and will allow future professionals to face the working world with a distinction that is difficult for other students in Chile to access.
The certification ceremony, in which the students received their Sence certificates, was attended by community and regional authorities, businessmen, students and parents.
Since 2015, Portuaria Corral and Liceo Carlos Haverbeck Richter have worked closely in the academic training of young people from Corral. To date, they have contributed with supplies for sports practice, study tours, support to outstanding students for their tertiary studies and other donations.
