Students from the Basic School of Corral visit Portuaria Corral's facilities.

During the visit, the students toured the port facilities and learned about the processes at the terminal that served the ship Daio Austral.

About twenty students from the Corral elementary school visited the facilities of Portuaria Corral in order to learn about its operations. On the occasion and with personal protection equipment, they were able to see the work with the ship Daio Austral, which was docked at the terminal. Among other activities, the attendees observed the loading of material, port operations and the ship's bridge.

The terminal's operations manager, Javier Muñoz, stated that "these activities are a fundamental pillar of our relationship with the community and an opportunity for the new generations to get to know and understand how port operations work", adding that "many of these young people have relatives working with us, which allows us to deepen the social cohesion of the community".

The students, thanks to the support of the Chilean Navy and company employees, had the opportunity to board and tour the ship.

The school's director, Guillermo De Armas, said that "it is really enriching for our school that the students have this opportunity, as it allows them not only to learn about, but also to be motivated by the most important industry in the district".

The visit ended with a gathering of the students at the Schuster collection field, where they took pictures and shared.
