Visit of authorities to learn about the Sustainability Plan 2025-2030

The Portuaria Corral facilities in Valdivia were the meeting point for the presentation of the 2025-2030 Sustainability Plan, which was attended by various regional authorities.
The presidential delegate, Jorge Alvial, the Seremi of Economy, Alejandra Vásquez, and the mayor of Valdivia, Carla Amtmann, had the opportunity to tour the facilities and learn about the company's projects, which total US$11 million.
The initiatives include the construction of a dome to cover the wood chip pile in the Miraflores sector, which will improve the port's environmental and operational management and open up new opportunities for river tourism.
"This plan is a fundamental step to strengthen the port's competitiveness and promote the economic and social development of the region," said the general manager of Portuaria Corral, Diego Sprenger, who detailed the investments made during 2024 and the company's latest developments.
"The government is committed to accompanying private investment, ensuring that projects are developed in a responsible manner, that they comply with environmental regulations, with a focus on sustainability and the well-being of the community," said the presidential delegate, Jorge Alvial.
The activity ended with a tour of the facilities of the Valdivia chipping plant, where the authorities were able to see the site of the future dome.
